Independent unaffiliated professionals who resolve divorces without adversarial court litigation
Collaborative Law Institute Of Missouri

The Collaborative Law Institute of Missouri, Inc. is an organization comprised of attorneys, mental health professionals and financial specialists trained in the innovative process of Collaborative Family Law. The members of the Collaborative Law Institute of Missouri, Inc. have agreed to abide by specific rules of conduct and procedures in a limited representation when undertaking a Collaborative Law approach to resolving family disputes.  Members are committed to resolving family disputes through non-adversarial procedures.

Members of the Collaborative Law Institute of Missouri, Inc. have come to believe from their experience with the adversarial system that the commitment of time, energy, and money to an adversarial case often does not achieve an outcome which provides a cost effective or even good solution to a client’s matrimonial disputes. Members recognize the benefit to their clients of an alternative method of ending a marriage with the tasks of dividing assets and debts, providing for support, and planning the parenting of their children without the stress of litigation.

The Collaborative Law Institute of Missouri, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Missouri.
